The Hill College nursing programs have been ranked ninth in the state in a study done by NursingDegrees.com. The study focused on the best schools to earn an undergraduate degree in nursing online, along with factors such as tuition, student to faculty ratio and student services and recent government data to evaluate schools offering undergraduate degrees in nursing online.

The Hill College Nursing program offers the highest quality health-related education and training to students of our community and surrounding areas. The programs are offered in a combination of delivery methods, including face to face, hybrid and online courses.

The Associate Degree Nursing Program is a 60-hour Associate of Applied Science degree that typically takes two years to complete. The program offers students the ability to dedicate themselves to increase their knowledge and developing their talents thus allowing them to become highly skilled nurses able to provide patient-centered care in hospitals or other health care facilities.

The Vocational Nursing Program is a 47/48-credit hour curriculum leading to a Certificate of Completion that typically takes one year to complete. The Vocational Nursing Program is accredited by the Board of Nursing (BON) for the State of Texas and is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to pass the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination - Vocational Nursing).

Both nursing programs are currently accepting applications until June 1 for the fall 2019 semester, which begins Aug. 26. The Hill College Hill County Campus LVN/Paramedic transition to ADN (RN) program is accepting applications for the Summer 2019 class. The application deadline is March 21.
